"One of them was over Sinai." The Israeli army claims to have intercepted two drones from Yemen.

The Israeli military said in a statement that the air force intercepted the two drones without activating the air raid sirens, in accordance with standard procedure, without providing details.

Channel 12 (private) reported that one of the drones was intercepted over the Egyptian Sinai region, without causing any injuries or losses.

Earlier on Thursday, the Houthi group announced a military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport in central Israel with a ballistic missile.

For the fourth consecutive day, the Houthi group continues to carry out attacks against Israel, after announcing on Sunday that it is heading toward an "escalating military path" to target Israel with missiles, drones, or a naval blockade.

The escalation of Houthi attacks against Israel follows attacks launched by the latter on the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, last Thursday, which resulted in the deaths of Houthi Prime Minister Ghaleb al-Rahwi, along with a number of ministers.

The Houthis launch attacks on Israel using missiles and drones, in addition to targeting ships linked to or heading toward it. They claim that their attacks are in response to the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

This genocide left 64,231 Palestinians martyred, 161,583 wounded, most of them children and women, more than 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that claimed the lives of 370 Palestinians, including 131 children.
