PSG coach Luis Enrique wins the 2025 Johan Cruyff Trophy

Luis Enrique was officially named the winner of the 2025 Johan Cruyff Trophy, an award for the world's best coach, at the 2025 Ballon d'Or ceremony held at the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris, France, early Tuesday morning WIB.

Enrique was not present in person at the 2025 Ballon d'Or event because he had to lead PSG in a Ligue 1 match at Olympique Lyonnais, which the hosts won 1-0. However, the Spanish coach still gave an official speech.

"Thank you to my family, to PSG, and to two special people: Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Luís Campos. We have an extraordinary relationship. For my players, individual awards are nice, but the most important thing is the recognition from the fans," said Enrique, as quoted from PSG's social media account.
