Young Indonesian racer Qarrar Firhand Ali closed the final series of the Champions of the Future 2025 in Kristianstad, Sweden, by finishing ninth in the final simultaneously taking Qarrar into the top 10 of European go-karts.
Qarrar qualified 10th fastest, then recorded mixed results in the heat races, finishing P7, P13, P8, and P5 twice. In the Super Heat, he finished eighth before finishing P9 in the main race.
"Kristianstad was full of challenges. Starting in the top 10 gave me more confidence. Consistency was key to finishing ninth in the final. Now my focus is squarely on the FIA World Championship next week!" said Qarrar in an official statement.
This season Qarrar officially joined the Ward Racing Official Team, one of the top karting teams in Europe.
The 14-year-old racer also received support from a number of Indonesian companies, including Pertamina, Telkomsel, Mind ID, and Eiger.
Next, Qarrar will appear at the 2025 FIA Karting World Championships which will again take place in Kristianstad, Sweden.
