Tijuana, February 28. A minor disappeared after entering the sea on Friday afternoon in Playas de Tijuana .
The Water Rescue Division responded to a 911 report at 3:35 p.m. indicating that two teenage girls between the ages of 14 and 16 had been swept away by the current.
The lifeguards managed to rescue a minor , who was in good physical condition.
The young woman said she entered the water with another teenager, so the search continued.
At around 5 p.m., more lifeguards were requested, but the operation had to be suspended at 7 p.m. due to darkness making the task difficult.
The Fire Department announced that seven lifeguards were working in the area and that work will resume early Saturday, March 1.
