The Silza Transport company , involved in the pipeline explosion at the Puente de la Concordia Bridge, did not have valid civil liability or environmental damage insurance policies , reported the Agency for Safety, Energy and Environment (ASEA).
"So far in 2025, Transportadora Silza has not submitted any applications for civil liability or environmental damage insurance policies for the transport permits covering the semi-trailer activity involved," stated the decentralized agency of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat)
However, he indicated that this year he did submit an application for insurance policy registration, but it pertains to the activity of storing liquefied petroleum gas through a supply plant; however, it was rejected .
"Therefore, to date, there is no record of current insurance with ASEA," he stressed.
