The Israeli occupation threatens to attack the port of Hodeidah in Yemen within hours.

"Urgent warning to all those present in the port of Hodeidah in Yemen," IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a post on the X platform.

He added, attaching a map to his warning: "The Israeli occupation army will attack in the coming hours in the area designated on the map in light of the military activities carried out by the Houthi regime there."

The Israeli occupation army called on all those present in the port of Hodeidah and the ships docked there to evacuate the area immediately.

On Monday, the Yemeni Houthi group announced that it had attacked Israel with four drones, in response to the genocide and starvation crimes committed by Tel Aviv against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

A statement by Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said, "The Yemeni Armed Forces' (affiliated with the group) drone air force carried out a qualitative military operation." He explained that the operation was carried out by "four drones, three of which targeted Ramon Airport in the Umm al-Rashrash area" (Eilat) in southern Israel.

On July 27, the Houthis decided to escalate their naval operations against Israel by "targeting all ships belonging to any company that deals with Israeli ports, regardless of the company's nationality," in support of the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a US-backed Israeli genocide since October 7, 2023.
