Tijuana, September 11.- The Autonomous University of Baja California hosted the second International Colloquium of the Common Space for Higher Distance Education, where national and international specialists debated the challenges facing distance education modalities in the face of technological disruption.
The event, organized by ECOESAD, brought together researchers, educators, and experts to analyze how institutions can adapt to technological changes without sacrificing quality or accessibility in their educational programs
Luis Enrique Palafox Maestre, rector of the UABC, emphasized that universities face an urgent need to evolve in the face of constant technological innovation. According to the academic, higher education institutions must collaborate to build networks, share successful experiences, and develop strategies that guarantee their relevance and competitiveness in the education market.
The colloquium provided a space for knowledge exchange, where universities could define common strategies and promote initiatives that strengthen their position in the Mexican education system.
