Israeli special forces stormed the city of al-Bireh (central West Bank) near the Yarmouk Mosque in the al-Masyoun neighborhood, followed by the arrival of large military reinforcements to the area. In the same context, other forces stormed the eastern neighborhoods of Nablus, positioning themselves in the "slaughterhouse" area and the Balata refugee camp.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound this morning in successive groups, conducting provocative tours and performing Talmudic rituals. One of them proposed marriage to a female settler inside the mosque's courtyards, a blatant violation of its sanctity.
These incursions come amid ongoing Israeli crimes in the Palestinian territories. Official Palestinian data indicates that the army and settlers have killed at least 1,042 Palestinians in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and injured approximately 10,160 others, in addition to arresting more than 19,000.
