BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider Alex Marquez put in a brilliant performance to win the Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday, cementing his position as runner-up in the 2025 MotoGP season.
The race was intense from the start. Francesco Bagnaia of the Ducati Lenovo Team briefly led the race, followed by Pedro Acosta of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and Alex Marquez.
However, Alex's aggressiveness was immediately apparent when he overtook Acosta midway through the first lap and then beat Bagnaia on the second lap.
After taking the lead, Alex was unstoppable all the way to the finish line. Meanwhile, Bagnaia, experiencing technical difficulties, had to retire early.
