The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that the occupation forces shot a young man in his twenties, killing him instantly.


In the same context, two Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces' bullets during a raid on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.


The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that its crews transported "two people seriously injured by live bullets" to the hospital.


For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed, in a statement, that the two cases had arrived at Jenin Governmental Hospital.


According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, deployed throughout its streets, and fired live ammunition at Palestinians.


Injuries in Al-Bireh


Earlier on Sunday, four Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire during a raid on the Amari refugee camp in the central West Bank city of Al-Bireh.


The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that "the occupation forces stormed the Amari camp and opened fire on civilians, wounding four of them, one in the abdomen and another in the foot, while the nature of the other two injuries is not yet known."


The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated in a statement that two of the injured arrived at the Palestine Medical Complex in the central city of Ramallah, "one of whom was in critical condition with abdominal injuries."


For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced in a statement that its crews were able to transport a 25-year-old man who was injured by live bullets to the hospital, and provided field treatment to another young man who was injured by live bullet shrapnel in the abdomen.


According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli occupation army deployed in the alleys of Al-Amari camp, sparking clashes in which live and rubber bullets and tear gas were used in response to young men throwing stones at the soldiers.


Storming Jerusalem


In northern Jerusalem, the WAFA news agency reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of al-Ram and the al-Kassarat neighborhood near the Qalandia refugee camp, firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters, without reporting any injuries or arrests.


Since the start of the Israeli war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank has witnessed an Israeli escalation that has resulted in the martyrdom of 1,058 Palestinians and the injury of approximately 10,000 others over the past two years, in addition to the arrest of more than 20,000 people, including 1,600 children.


On October 8, 2023, Israel began a two-year genocide in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 68,519 Palestinians and the injury of 170,382 others. The operation ended with a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 10.
