Former International Boxing Federation (IBF) heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois is eyeing another fight against Frank Sanchez in an elimination bout to become the mandatory challenger for the IBF world title.
"We'll sit down with (Frank Sanchez's team) and it's clear (the fight) will happen," said Daniel Dubois' promoter, Frank Warren, in a Sky Sports report in Jakarta, Friday.
Dubois defeated Anthony Joshua by knockout at Wembley Stadium, England, in 2024, before being defeated by Oleksandr Usyk at the same arena in July 2025.
Warren said the 28-year-old Dubois will improve as a boxer after losing to Oleksandr Usyk and will fight better after facing Usyk.
His next target is an elimination bout against Sanchez, which could open up a shot at the top of the IBF heavyweight division.
"He'll be back in the new year and he'll be fighting a big fight," Warren said.
