The progress of Indonesian women's doubles badminton players Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari was thwarted by South Korean pair Baek Ha Na/Lee So Hee in a rubber game of 14-21, 21-16, 16-21 in the round of 16 of the 2025 Denmark Open at Jynske Arena, Thursday.
Febi regretted the defeat, as she had performed so well that she could have put the sixth-seeded pair in the BWF Super 750 tournament under pressure.
"It's a shame, actually, that we were able to force a rubber game but couldn't win," said Febi, as quoted by PBSI.
Febi said that in the first game, her defeat was caused by failing to anticipate the fast tempo of the game shown by Baek Ha Na/Lee So Hee.
