This move places Fujitsu among Japanese companies collaborating with US companies in the AI field, such as Hitachi Ltd., which has announced a partnership with OpenAI, the developer and operator of ChatGPT.

"Computing power is accelerating the progress of AI," Fujitsu President and CEO Takahito Tokita said at a press conference in Tokyo, which was also attended by Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang.
