Huawei officially launched its latest smartwatch model, the Huawei Watch GT 6 series, in Indonesia.In addition to being equipped with various advanced features to support sports activities, this watch is also claimed to have long battery life, capable of operating for up to 21 days.
"Huawei designed the Huawei Watch GT 6 Series as the ultimate versatile smartwatch that can transition seamlessly from professional sports activities to formal daily activities," as quoted from the official statement of Huawei Indonesia.
This smartwatch is equipped with cycling virtual power technology that can automatically calculate the power (watts) from each cycling activity. Users can also transfer cycling route data from third-party applications directly to the smartwatch with just one touch.
This smartwatch also offers more than 100 sports modes, including professional golf with vector maps for more than 17 thousand golf courses, including 160 maps in Indonesia, equipped with an infinite zoom feature, trail running with altitude data and estimated travel time, freediving to a depth of 40 meters, padel, trekking, and various other outdoor sports.
Additionally, this smartwatch is equipped with comprehensive health monitoring features. It includes pulse-wave arrhythmia analysis to monitor heart rhythm and identify signs of arrhythmia, as well as multi-dimensional emotional wellbeing to measure 12 emotional states to provide a comprehensive picture of the user's mental health.
This watch is launched in two variants, namely the Standard and Pro types, with prices ranging from IDR 3.5 million to IDR 6.6 million during the promotional period which runs from today until November 11, 2025. The Standard type is available in 41 mm and 46 mm sizes, while all Pro types are available in 46 mm sizes.
This size difference affects battery life. The Standard variant in 41 mm size has a maximum battery life of up to 14 days, while the Pro and Standard variants in 46 mm size can last up to 21 days. This watch is claimed to be one of the smartwatches with the longest battery life in its class.
