The Petrokimia Gresik Pupuk Indonesia women's volleyball team defeated Rajawali O2C in three straight sets 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-16) in the Final Four of the 2025 Livoli Main Division at the Ki Mageti Sports Hall, Magetan, Thursday.
This convincing victory also confirmed Petrokimia's status as the strongest candidate for the championship after sweeping all matches in the final four round with victory.
Furthermore, Medi Yoku and his teammates also secured their place in the grand final. Meanwhile, Rajawali O2C, a team comprised primarily of young players, had to settle for a valuable learning experience after failing to reach the final.
"Thank God, today we were able to win 3-0 even with several substitute players in rotation. The main key was their discipline and strong competitive spirit," said Petrokimia coach Ayub, as quoted by PBVSI.
He believes
this victory is crucial for his team's preparations for the final.
"Because the opponent in the final round will clearly put up maximum resistance," said Ayub, who wants his team to continue showing consistency until the end.
