This came in a speech he delivered at the start of the Knesset's winter session, which was interrupted on several occasions by opposition members of parliament, who protested the Netanyahu government's policies and its deliberate prolongation of the war of extermination in Gaza before a ceasefire agreement was reached.
In violation of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 10, Israel carried out several attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing 44 Palestinians and wounding dozens more.
These Israeli raids were carried out after Palestinian militants allegedly fired anti-tank missiles at its engineering equipment in the southern Gaza Strip, killing an officer and a soldier.
Netanyahu said in his speech: "The ceasefire does not give Hamas permission to threaten us. Any aggression against us will have a very heavy price," adding: "We are determined to achieve all the war's goals, including disarming Hamas."
Netanyahu continued: "During the ceasefire, two soldiers were killed, and Hamas immediately felt the comfort of our arms. We attacked them with 153 tons of bombs, attacking dozens of targets across the length and breadth of the Gaza Strip."
Hamas denied on Sunday any violations, stressing in a statement that it adheres to the ceasefire agreement and is working to implement its provisions "with utmost precision and responsibility." It emphasized that Israel continues to violate the agreement, which it has done since it entered into force.
During the two years of war, the Israeli occupation army bombarded the Gaza Strip with more than 200,000 tons of explosives, including internationally prohibited items such as 200-pound bombs, according to statistics from the government media office in Gaza.
44 martyrs
On Sunday evening, the Government Media Office confirmed in a statement that Israel had committed 21 violations of the ceasefire agreement during the day, resulting in the deaths of 44 Palestinians at the time of publication.
According to the government office, Israel has committed 80 violations since the agreement came into effect, resulting in the deaths of 97 Palestinians and the injury of 230 others.
Earlier today , the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from Israel's genocidal war since October 2023 had risen to 68,216 martyrs and 170,361 wounded.
The ministry said in a daily statistical statement that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received "57 martyrs in the past 24 hours, including 45 as a result of direct targeting by the occupation, 12 who died previously, and 158 wounded."
The violations committed by Israel on Sunday included Israeli shelling of areas not under the control of the army under the agreement that entered into force on October 10, i.e., west of the so-called "yellow line" for the temporary withdrawal.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health stated in a statement that Israel has killed "80 Palestinians and injured 303 others" since October 11. It reiterated its assertion that a number of victims remain under the rubble of destroyed homes and in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.
On October 10,agreement in Gaza came into effect, based on US President Donald Trump's plan. The plan calls for a cessation of hostilities, a gradual withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces, a mutual release of prisoners, the immediate entry of aid into the Strip, and the disarmament of Hamas.
