Malut United coach Hendri Susilo stated that his players successfully executed their prepared strategy when they defeated Persis Solo in the 9th week of the 2025-2026 BRI Super League at Manahan Stadium, Solo, on Monday, ending with a score of 3-1.
"Tyronne del Pino put in a brilliant performance, scoring two goals in the 30th and 53rd minutes. This was also the Spanish midfielder's first goal for Laskar Kie Raha," said Malut United coach Hendri Susilo when contacted on Monday.
Malut United's other goal came from Yakob Sayuri in the 58th minute, while Persis's lone goal came from Kodai Tanaka in the 68th minute.
"We had already predicted Persis's game. After the first goal, they would play more openly and press. At halftime, I asked the players to play in mid-defense and let the opposition come in," said Hendri.
The 59-year-old tactician added, "We also implemented a compact defense coupled with a counterattack from the left flank. Thank God, the strategy worked."
