The occupation army continues its raids on West Bank cities, arresting Palestinians and targeting farmers in Ramallah.

The official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that occupation forces arrested two Palestinians in the town of Beit Qad and the Wadi Ezzedine area in the Jenin Governorate in the northern West Bank, after raiding and searching their homes.

In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beita at dawn, imposing a tight siege. They closed all entrances and closed the iron gates, raided dozens of homes and facilities, and detained a number of young men. They also raided the Balata and Askar al-Qadeem refugee camps east of the city, searching homes without reporting any arrests, according to local sources.

In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces raided the home of 11-year-old Mohammed Bahjat al-Hallaq, who was killed last Thursday by Israeli army fire while playing football in the village of al-Rihiya. They conducted a field investigation at the scene with a number of residents of the area.

In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, occupation forces fired live bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas at Palestinian farmers in the village of Kobar as they attempted to reach their lands to harvest olives, forcing them to withdraw without any injuries.

Farmer Fahed Abu Al-Hajj explained that the army prevented farmers from entering their lands despite a ruling by the Israeli Supreme Court allowing them to do so. He noted that the area near the Halamish settlement has been subjected to restrictions and attacks by settlers and the army for years.

During the olive harvest season, Palestinian villages are subjected to repeated attacks by the occupation army and settlers, including land confiscation, the uprooting of trees, and the prevention of farmers from accessing their lands.

According to the government's Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers have carried out more than 7,000 attacks in the West Bank over the past two years, resulting in the deaths of 33 Palestinians and the destruction of more than 48,000 trees, including approximately 37,000 olive trees.

These attacks come amid an escalation in Israeli attacks in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, which have resulted in the deaths of at least 1,054 Palestinians, the injury of approximately 10,000 others, and the arrest of more than 20,000, including 1,600 children, according to Palestinian data.
