The Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation begins rubble removal and rehabilitation work in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the authority said it has begun implementing a new project to rehabilitate destroyed areas. This project includes environmental cleanup, road opening, and rubble removal, particularly in the northern Gaza Strip. The project aims to accelerate efforts to restore normal life to residential areas.

The statement explained that the organization's heavy machinery is working in the field to remove rubble and open blocked alleys, while the organization continues to support the residents of Gaza by providing food, shelter, healthcare, and psychological and social support.

On Friday, the organization indicated that it had allocated approximately $80 million for humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza since the start of the Israeli war on the Strip.

Since October 8, 2023, Israel has committed genocide with US support, resulting in the martyrdom of 67,967 Palestinians, in addition to 170,179 wounded, most of them children and women, and the destruction of approximately 90% of civilian infrastructure.

On October 9, Hamas and Israel reached a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement based on a plan proposed by US President Donald Trump. The first phase of the agreement entered into force the following day.
