A Palestinian was killed and the bombing of Gaza continues, while tents of displaced people continue to flood.

Local media reported that Israeli occupation forces targeted the eastern part of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip with artillery fire, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement. The occupation forces also renewed artillery shelling and gunfire east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip since dawn.

On Monday morning, the Israeli army launched a series of airstrikes, accompanied by demolitions, artillery shelling, and heavy gunfire, targeting several areas beyond the Green Line. Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, the army has continued its operations to destroy the remaining buildings beyond this line.

In a related context, the Civil Defense Authority in Gaza announced that dozens of tents sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis were flooded as a result of the continuous low-pressure system for the past three days, which led to damage and the destruction of thousands of tents in shelter areas, forcing many displaced people to take refuge inside destroyed buildings that lack the minimum level of safety.

Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said that Gaza City is drowning in rain amid widespread destruction of infrastructure, warning of a "bigger disaster" if the region is hit by a polar depression, noting that thousands of tents have been damaged or destroyed as the siege continues.

The government media office estimates the number of displaced people at about 1.5 million, most of whom live in tents unfit for habitation, as estimates indicate that 93% of these tents are now damaged, while 90% of civilian infrastructure has been destroyed during the past two years.

Israel also refuses to allow alternative housing despite this being stipulated in the ceasefire agreement, and continues its daily violations of the agreement, causing martyrs and wounded.

On October 10, a ceasefire agreement in Gaza between Hamas and Israel came into effect, ending a genocide that left more than 69,000 Palestinian martyrs and more than 170,000 wounded.
