Indonesian women's doubles pair Apriyani Rahayu and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti have confirmed they want to approach each match with more relaxation and without pressure, after securing a place in the quarterfinals of the 2025 BWF World Tour Super 500 Australian Open.The Apriyani/Fadia pair won 21-11, 12-21, 21-10 over the Japanese pair, Nanako Hara/Riko Kiyose, Quaycentre, Olympic Boulevard, Thursday.
"We definitely want to show our best first, not being burdened by less-than-stellar results in previous tournaments. We want to enjoy every match," Apriyani said in an official PBSI statement after the match.
Last week, Apriyani/Fadia could only survive until the second round of the Super 500 Kumamoto Japan 2025 after losing to Japanese representatives Yuki Fukushima/Mayu Matsumoto in two straight games 10-21, 16-21.
