The dominance of the host nation's representatives was evident in the round of 16 of the 2025 Indonesia International Challenge, after five Indonesian mixed doubles pairs advanced to the quarterfinals at the Amongrogo Sports Hall, Yogyakarta, on Thursday.
The five pairs are Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti, M. Nawaf Khoiriyansyah/Nahya Muhyifa, Kenzie Yoe/Luna Rianty Saffana, Renaldi Samosir/Masita Mahmudin, and Bimo Prasetyo/Arlya Nabila Thesya Munggaran.
Top seeds Bobby/Melati performed without difficulty after defeating compatriots Muhammad Mulky Aufa Atmaja/Salma Mufida in two straight games 21-7, 21-14.
