Amid ongoing military operations, the storm that hit the Gaza Strip has created a new humanitarian disaster, as rainwater and floods inundated thousands of tents in displacement camps. The United Nations revealed that more than 13,000 families were affected, and that thousands of families lost what little property they had left.

She explained that no new tents have been brought into the Gaza Strip so far, and that aid has covered only 15% of the needs, while Gaza urgently requires 250,000 tents and 100,000 mobile housing units. According to the data, 125,000 out of 135,000 tents have been damaged and are no longer habitable.
