Izan Guevara tests the Yamaha M1 for the first time

Moto2 rider Izan Guevara tested the Yamaha M1 for the first time after his impressive performance in the Valencia MotoGP at the Ricardo Torno Circuit in Valencia last weekend. He was given the opportunity to test the development of the 2025 Yamaha YZR-M1.

"I'm very grateful to Yamaha for giving me the opportunity to try the M1. Riding a MotoGP bike is a dream for anyone who wants to become a professional racer, and being able to experience this is truly a dream come true," Guevara told the MotoGP website.

"In the morning, I attended a briefing from Jack Miller's technical team, who explained how the bike works and how to manage braking and acceleration. The power of this bike is incredible," he added.

Guevara, who recently extended his contract with Yamaha Moto2 until 2026, is taking part in developing the 2025 YZR-M1, which is powered by an inline-4 engine.
