The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) continues to promote the implementation of Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Governance of Electronic Systems for Child Protection, or PP Tunas, as a weapon against negative content.
The Director General of Public Communication and Media (Dirjen KPM) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Fifi Aleyda Yahya, said that the urgency of the Tunas PP was with an easy-to-understand analogy, such as imagining the internet as a giant library filled with millions of books.
"PP Tunas is present as the library's guardian, ensuring that every 'book' or content is accessible and age-appropriate and safe for our younger siblings," Fifi said in an official statement on Tuesday.
