The Indonesian national team player's goal against Arema FC in the Liga 1 match on March 9 was nominated for the 2025 Puskas Award.
Rizki Ridho fired a long-range shot from the middle of the field which immediately flew into Arema's goal.
"I'm very grateful to be among the world's top players. It's hard to put into words. I'm very happy," Rizki Ridho said on FIFA's official website on Tuesday.
The former Persebaya Surabaya player admitted that he learned a lot from watching videos of European players, especially those who play in the center-back position.
