Communications and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid emphasized that the government is accelerating household connectivity and access to digital educational content as a strategic step to improve the quality of human resources from childhood and equal digital skills across Indonesia."In line with the President's directive, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology has made connectivity and digital educational content part of the national effort to improve human resources from childhood onwards," said Meutya in a press statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Minister Meutya, who attended Rocket Week 2025 by MyRepublic on Friday (21/11), emphasized the importance of a secure, stable, and equitable internet connection for effective digital learning transformation.
This is in line with Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Governance of Electronic System Implementation in Child Protection or PP TUNAS which mandates child-friendly digital spaces.
This agenda is also in line with President Prabowo Subianto's directive, which places digitalization of education as the foundation for improving the competence of the younger generation.
