Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid emphasized the importance of government public relations collaboration as a foundation for maintaining public trust amidst the rapid flow of digital information."Public relations is a navigator of public trust and a beacon of truth amidst the noise of information. Our job is not just to disseminate information, but to build a narrative that is substantial, contextual, and impactful," said Meutya in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.
This was conveyed at the 2025 Public Relations Media Awards Night (AMH) held by the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) in Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11).
In the event, which carried the theme "Public Relations Collaboration, One Voice for a Progressive Indonesia," Meutya emphasized that the role of government public relations is no longer merely a complement to the bureaucracy, but has become part of national development.
He invited all public relations institutions to strengthen collaboration in three main dimensions: vertical collaboration between the central and regional governments, horizontal collaboration between agencies, and collaboration with the digital ecosystem.
"Collaboration cannot be merely symbolic. It must be concrete, tangible, and structured so that the government's message can be conveyed effectively and unite the steps towards an Advanced Indonesia," he stressed.
