Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital (Wamenkomdigi) Nezar Patria said Indonesia is advancing the creative and digital economy by focusing on three main foundations so that the sector can grow strongly and compete at the global level.
"The three main focuses are strengthening infrastructure to ensure equitable and high-quality distribution, developing more creative and competent digital talent, and establishing governance based on technological ethics," Nezar said in Denpasar, Bali, as quoted in a press release in Jakarta on Saturday.
Nezar said he was impressed by the innovation of Primakara University students in Bali who showcased various applications and computer games, such as "Niskala: Sacred Knowledge of Leyak," equipped with fresh ideas and captivating visuals.
According to Nezar, their works demonstrate that Indonesia's young generation is ready to become the driving force of a digital technology-based creative economy.
