The Ministry of Creative Economy (Kemenekraf) is facilitating the exploration of collaboration opportunities with strategic partners such as digital content monetization and payment company CODA to strengthen the national gaming industry ecosystem.
Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency Irene Umar in a meeting with representatives of CODA management discussed strategic collaboration opportunities to strengthen the national games industry, improve the capabilities of local developers, and open international market access for Indonesian products.
"Indonesian developers' creativity is extraordinary, but without the right monetization strategy, their potential will not be maximized," he said while receiving CODA representatives at Autograph Tower.
"The government is committed to providing access to knowledge, markets, and collaboration so that local games can compete globally," he said, as quoted in a ministry press release on Tuesday.
Irene stated that monetization is important for the growth of the gaming industry and CODA can be a strategic partner in this regard.
"CODA is here as a strategic partner that can help develop the Indonesian gaming ecosystem," he said.
