The Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement that "the Israeli enemy's raid on the eastern Doueir road in the Nabatieh district resulted, in an initial count, in the death of one martyr and the injury of seven citizens."
The Lebanese News Agency reported that an Israeli drone carried out an attack with three guided missiles targeting a car at the Sharqiyah intersection in the town of Doueir, resulting in the death of Mohammed Ali Hadid and injuries to 7 citizens.
She added that "the air attack caused the targeted car to catch fire, and the fire spread to two other cars."
The agency reported significant damage to a commercial complex containing 17 shops, including restaurants, shops, and a library, as well as surrounding shops and apartments, whose windows were shattered.
Later, the Ministry of Health announced in a statement that "the Israeli enemy's raid on the town of Aita al-Shaab in the Bint Jbeil district resulted in the death of a martyr."
Last Friday, the official Israeli Broadcasting Authority said that Tel Aviv is considering escalating its military operations in Lebanon, claiming it is responding to Hezbollah's efforts to strengthen its capabilities.
Israel killed more than 4,000 people and injured about 17,000 during its aggression against Lebanon, which began in October 2023 and turned into a full-scale war in September 2024.
It also violated the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, which has been in effect since November 2024, more than 4,500 times, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries.
Israel is defying the agreement by continuing its occupation of five Lebanese hills in the south, which it seized in the last war, in addition to other Lebanese areas it has occupied for decades.
