In a remarkable research review, scientists discovered that certain foods and plants contain compounds capable of mimicking the action of the natural hormone GLP-1, the same hormone that modern weight-loss drugs mimic.

Researchers from Heliopolis University in Egypt concluded in a research paper published in the journal Toxicology Reports that "natural products can regulate the secretion of this hormone," which opens the door to the possibility of achieving benefits similar to ozambique but in natural ways.

What's even more exciting is that some of these foods may already be in your kitchen, including cinnamon, ginger, and green tea, as well as the plant compound "berberine," which is described as being the closest thing to "natural ozemic."

The researchers explain: "New research suggests that ginger and its chemical component gingerol may stimulate the production of GLP-1, which explains why it has long been recommended for diabetics."

It is believed that the protein extracted from wheat, which is rich in amino acids and peptides, lowers blood glucose concentration by increasing GLP-1 secretion.

Some studies suggest that compounds in green tea, particularly EGCG, can stimulate GLP-1 secretion.
