The Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which is expected to launch in China in late 2025, is rumored to be equipped with a superior camera.
Gizmochina on Monday cited leaked information from Digital Chat Station (DCS) which stated that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will have extraordinary camera capabilities and an improved optical setup.
According to DCS, the device will use a large main camera sensor with an f/1.6 aperture combined with the latest generation of LOFIC technology to handle light better and reduce glare.
The sensor is expected to have an effective aperture of around f/4.5, which should improve the camera's performance in low-light conditions and increase overall clarity.
In addition, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be equipped with a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens capable of medium and long-range zoom with an effective aperture approaching f/8.6.
This periscope lens will reportedly use Xiaomi's exclusive full-lens optical system, which offers advanced focus flexibility.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is rumored to have a large flat display with a circular camera island.
