Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli attacks targeted the eastern areas of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as the northern and eastern areas of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the eastern areas of Khan Yunis, Israeli warplanes launched raids in conjunction with artillery shelling that affected several areas, amid loud explosions.
Those areas also witnessed intermittent gunfire from Israeli military vehicles since the early hours of the morning.
In the west of Khan Yunis, Israeli gunboats opened fire with their machine guns towards fishing boats at sea.
In the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, the army launched an airstrike, and plumes of smoke were seen rising from the targeted areas.
The nature of the targets of the air raids or artillery shelling was not clear.
Israel has continued its violations of the ceasefire with Hamas since October 10, committing about 738 violations and killing more than 395 Palestinians, according to the government media office in Gaza last Tuesday.
The Israeli war of extermination in Gaza, which began in October 2023 and lasted for two years, left more than 70,000 martyrs and more than 171,000 wounded Palestinians, most of them children and women, and massive destruction with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
