Three Russian soldiers were photographed on horseback by a colleague who entered the city using a light four-wheel drive "buggy".
Russian forces had previously used horses in special military operation areas, as the commander of the "Shturm" special forces in the 9th Brigade of the Russian Army, nicknamed "Khan," resorted to cavalry tactics when entering the village of Ulyanovka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
Khan explained that horses traverse certain areas better than infantry and military equipment, and that they sense danger acutely and avoid mines, including Ukrainian stealth mines of the "petals" type.
Earlier, fighters from the 51st Army in Krasnoarmeysk discovered a drone control center belonging to one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' elite drone units, known as the "Birds of Madyar." The control center was located in the basement of a house, and the Ukrainian drone operators left behind valuable spoils when they fled, including drones, fiber optic cables, ammunition, and a tablet with a control panel.
