As the oldest player in JLM, Yolla Yuliana is not thinking about retirement yet.
National women's volleyball athlete Yolla Yuliana admitted she has not yet considered retirement, despite being the oldest player in the Jakarta Livin Mandiri (JLM) squad for the 2026 Proliga season.

Yolla, who is in her 30s, emphasized that her motivation to continue playing remains high, even though physical challenges and injuries are an integral part of her career as a professional athlete.

"In my own heart, I'm spurred on, 'You can do it, come on, fight yourself. A small injury is okay. So there's a competition within yourself, between wanting to finish or continuing," said Yolla.

This season, Yolla officially joined Jakarta Livin Mandiri after previously playing for Jakarta Popsivo Polwan. She stated that the move was part of her quest for new challenges and a new environment.

"Of course, every year we try new colors and new families, and it just so happened that this year we were matched with Livin Mandiri. I saw that Livin Mandiri was serious about proposing, so we decided to try a new team," Yolla said.

At  Livin Mandiri, Yolla is part of a team composed primarily of young players. In fact, several players are still in their teens, ranging from 14 to 17, making Yolla the most senior player on the team.

"With so many young players, it's certainly a challenge. Some are 14, some are 17, and I'm in my 30s. But that just makes me even more enthusiastic," said the 1994-born woman.

Yolla believes that the presence of young players with a fiery mentality is a necessity for Jakarta Livin Mandiri at this time. According to her, the energy and enthusiasm of the juniors are expected to boost the team's performance in the 2026 Proliga.
