Phoenix Suns basketball player Devin Booker suffered a right groin injury and was unable to continue the match, during his team's 125-108 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2025-2026 NBA game, Tuesday WIB.
The NBA website stated that the Suns' star point guard was pulled out with 2 minutes and 5 seconds remaining in the first quarter, after committing an offensive foul.
He didn't return until the end of the game. Before the injury, the Suns star had recorded 11 points and three assists .
The injury also occurred when Booker was in his 11th season with the Suns, the only team in his professional career in the NBA.
The 28-year-old started the season averaging 25.7 points per game (ppg) and 6.9 assists per game (apg), making him one of the team's main offensive engines.
