Napoli coach Antonio Conte said his squad demonstrated their desire to defend their Serie A title after defeating AS Roma 1-0 in the 2025/2026 Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Monday morning WIB."These players showed enthusiasm and energy to defend the title and try to rediscover our standards," Conte was quoted as saying on Napoli's official website on Monday.
The Italian tactician said it wasn't easy to play in Rome and win at the Olimpico. However, he believes his players were capable of performing at their best and showing their full potential.
"The players showed strength and character, and the performance was at a very high level," said Conte.
