Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani's left ankle discomfort was one of the factors that prevented the Indonesian men's doubles pair from reaching the semifinals of the 2025 BWF World Tour Finals.
In the semifinal match at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Hangzhou, Saturday, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani were forced to admit the toughness of the South Korean doubles pair Kim Won Ho/Seo Seung Jae in two straight games 9-21, 11-21.
"There were some minor issues with Reza's condition, particularly with his left ankle. This prevented him from playing as freely as he could today. Nevertheless, we still tried our best in the match," Sabar said in a written statement from PBSI on Saturday.
Reza confirmed that he felt the injury during the third match of the group stage yesterday.
