Media reports have revealed that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi club Al-Nassr, and his fiancée Georgina Rodriguez have purchased two luxury villas on the west coast of Saudi Arabia

According to reports, villa prices on this tourist island start from about 15.5 million Saudi riyals (equivalent to about 3.1 million British pounds), while the final value paid by Ronaldo for the two villas has not been revealed, amid speculation that the deal is among the largest in the luxury real estate market.

The Portuguese star’s decision came after he visited the region several times, where he felt comfortable and settled with his family, reflecting another aspect of his personality as a businessman and investor, and not just as a global star on the pitch.

Ronaldo owns a number of palaces and houses in different countries, most notably Portugal, Spain, England and the United States of America, but his admiration for the lifestyle in Saudi Arabia may prompt him to consider settling there after retiring from football and making the two villas a permanent residence for him and his family in the future.

Ronaldo’s connection to Saudi Arabia is not limited to football, as he owns a share of Al-Nassr club, in addition to launching multiple commercial and investment projects. It is likely that the purchase of the two villas is part of a long-term investment strategy, similar to his investments spread around the world.
