MPR Member: Four Pillars emphasize that differences are actually a source of strength
Member of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) from the West Nusa Tenggara Electoral District, HM Muazzim Akbar, emphasized the importance of understanding the four pillars of nationality demonstrating that diversity is a source of strength.
"By understanding the meaning of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, we become stronger because of our differences. This is very relevant to the harmonious conditions in NTB," he emphasized in his statement in Mataram on Friday.
Before hundreds of residents in Sukaraja Village, he explained that the Four Pillars are the foundation for citizens to maintain national unity, especially amidst the diversity, religious differences, and cultural differences in the region.
"These Four Pillars are the final formulation of our nation's journey. We must internalize and practice Pancasila as the foundation of the state and our way of life in our daily lives. Meanwhile, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) is a non-negotiable and must be safeguarded together," he said.
