The Leclerc duo will drive Ferrari in FP1 for the Abu Dhabi GP  The Leclerc duo will drive Ferrari in the first free practice session (FP1) of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Formula 1 GP,  because Charles Leclerc's younger brother, Arthur, will replace Lewis Hamilton.

Arthur Leclerc will drive the Ferrari SF-25 at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, after being deemed to have performed well and become one of the rookie drivers this year.

"Charles and I were really happy to be driving together again in FP1. It was great to be in the car and sharing the garage with him," Arthur said, as quoted by Formula 1, Thursday.

This isn't the first time Charles and Arthur have raced together for Ferrari. Last year, also at the Abu Dhabi GP, the two raced together in the first free practice session.

At that time, the moment was historic because it was the first time that siblings had taken to the track for the same Formula 1 team.

Arthur, who serves as Ferrari's reserve driver, said the opportunity to race in FP1 would have a crucial technical impact on both him and the team.
