The Minister of Communication and Digital said that 50 percent of BTS in Aceh are already operational.

  Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid stated that around 50 percent of the base transceiver stations (BTS) in Aceh Province are now reported to be operational or on air following the flood and landslide disaster.

" On-air (BTS) is still at 50 percent, so it's still very difficult, especially in areas like Bener Meriah, Aceh Tamiang, North Aceh, and so on because the electricity is still unstable," said Meutya at the "National Meeting of Digital Literacy Activists" event in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Meutya explained that 87 percent of BTS in Aceh Province had also been restored, although not all of them were operational.
