West Bank: Israeli forces kill a Palestinian child in Bethlehem and injure two workers north of Jerusalem

The director of the Tuqu’ municipal council, Taysir Abu Mufreh, confirmed “the martyrdom of the child Ammar Yasser Sabah (16 years old) by a bullet to the chest fired by the occupation soldiers,” according to what was reported by the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”.

Abu Mufreh explained that occupation army forces stormed the town and positioned themselves in its center, firing randomly, which led to the child Sabah being shot in the chest.

He added that medical teams transported the child to the town's clinic to provide him with first aid, before he was transferred to a hospital to complete treatment, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

In the same context, two Palestinian workers were injured on Monday evening by Israeli occupation army gunfire near the separation wall in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

According to data from the General Union of Palestinian Workers, 44 Palestinian workers were killed by Israeli occupation army bullets, and more than 32,000 others were arrested inside workplaces or while trying to look for work since the start of the war of extermination until last October 28.

With the martyrdom of Sabah and the injury of the two workers, the number of Palestinians who have been martyred in the escalating attacks by the army and settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem, coinciding with the war of extermination on Gaza, rises to 1,096 Palestinians, in addition to the injury of about 11,000 others, and the arrest of more than 21,000, according to government sources.

For two years, beginning on October 8, 2023, Israel waged a war of extermination in Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 70,000 Palestinians and the injury of more than 171,000, most of whom were children and women.
