The Japanese player was a solid bulwark last season, leading PSIM to the Indonesian League 2 title and promotion to the top flight after 18 years. Now, Yusaku has made 13 appearances in the Super League, helping Laskar Mataram to sixth place with 24 points.
"Of course, first and foremost, I hope PSIM stays in Liga 1 next season. I also want to be included in the best eleven players in Liga 1," Yusaku said, as quoted from the club's official website on Wednesday.
On the same occasion, Yusaku said he postponed his desire to return to his home country at the turn of the year after PSIM had to play an important match in early January, against Semen Padang on Sunday (4/1) at 15.30 WIB at Sultan Agung Bantul Stadium.
