Liverpool manager Arne Slot admitted that he and his players understand the disappointment felt by supporters after the Reds failed to win again in the Premier League.Liverpool had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Burnley, who are battling to escape the relegation zone, in a match that took place at Anfield on Saturday (17/1).
"In my mind, it wasn't a whistle, but a form of frustration," Slot said after the match, as quoted on the club's official website on Sunday.
"We have to give credit to Burnley for their defensive approach, clearing the ball off the line. However, if we as Liverpool are no longer disappointed to only draw at home against Burnley, then something is seriously wrong. I completely understand that frustration. I feel it too, and the players clearly feel the same way as the fans," he explained.
This draw was Liverpool's fourth in a row in the Premier League this season.
