The Aston Martin team was reportedly unable to take part in the Formula 1 test in Barcelona from the start due to obstacles.
Motorsport reported on Monday that Aston Martin is likely to take to the track on the third day of pre-season testing in Barcelona this week.
"At Aston Martin's team headquarters, it's a race against time to get ready for the pre-season test that begins tomorrow at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona," wrote Motorsport.
Williams had previously officially announced that they would not be able to attend the test in Spain, and in the last few hours rumors emerged about the very sensitive situation at Aston Martin that the team would also not be able to attend the pre-season test from the start.
If the British factory team does not start, then its two drivers, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, will only be able to try the AMR26 for the first time on the track.
The delay in the Aston Martin program, according to a number of sources, is not surprising.
In early January, news emerged that Aston Martin was reconsidering several projects led by Adrian Newey.
Therefore, a decision was made to make several changes that would have a direct impact on the original schedule.
