Bandung BJB beats JLM in three straight sets

  The Bandung BJB women's volleyball team defeated Jakarta Livin Mandiri in three straight sets (25-21, 25-15, 25-21) in the first match of the 2026 Proliga group stage at the A. Yani Integrated Sports Hall, Pontianak, Pontianak, Friday.

The additional three points brought BJB to second place, only a point difference from Jakarta Popsivo Polwan who topped the standings.

In the first set, BJB immediately started the match by pressing and scoring three points in a row.

Slowly but surely BJB took the lead 11-9, but entering the middle of the set JLM equalized the score 16-16.

A number of mistakes were made by JLM players which BJB took advantage of to lock the set with 25-21.
