Clashes erupt between Palestinians, Israeli army, and settlers in the West Bank amid heavy gunfire.
The official “Voice of Palestine” radio station indicated that clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces present to protect settlers in the Ras al-Ain area of Qusra town, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The radio station added that the clashes included heavy live fire from the occupation army, in response to stones thrown by Palestinian youths.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that clashes broke out between Palestinians and an Israeli force in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, adding that "the occupation forces stormed the town, amid the firing of sound bombs and toxic gas, which led to the outbreak of clashes, without any injuries being reported."

The raids also targeted the towns of Jayyous, east of Qalqilya, and Zababdeh, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and the village of Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya, northeast of Ramallah (central West Bank), where a demolition notice was issued for a room used for agricultural purposes in the village.

According to Wafa, the occupation army stormed Palestinian homes in the town of Al-Samou’ south of Hebron and conducted searches there.

Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Water Authority, which covers the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, said in a statement that settlers assaulted one of its employees while he was with a number of his colleagues from the technical crews, carrying out urgent maintenance work on one of the water wells in the Ain Samia area, east of Ramallah.

She noted that the water supply had stopped for the second day in a row after settlers attacked water wells on Sunday, "which directly threatens the water supply to more than 19 communities."

The Water Authority stated that settlers placed barbed wire around two of the wells, "preventing technical teams from accessing them and completing the necessary maintenance work, in a serious violation that exacerbates the water crisis and endangers the lives of citizens."

In the southern West Bank, human rights activist Osama Makhameh said in a daily briefing distributed to journalists that "settlers stormed several Palestinian communities in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and released herds of livestock into agricultural lands in the communities of Khirbet Mughayir al-Abeed and Shaab al-Batim."

Since the start of the war of extermination on the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, Israel, through its army and settlers, has intensified its attacks in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, including arrests, killings, house demolitions, displacement of Palestinians, and settlement expansion.

These attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 1,108 Palestinians, injuries to more than 11,500 others, and the arrest of more than 21,000 Palestinians, according to official Palestinian figures.
