In his official statement, the commitment was conveyed by the General Chairperson of Forki , Herianto Syahputra, at the 2026 Forki Jakarta Gathering at the KONI Building .
"We want to build achievements based on the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and dignity. This will be the hallmark of Forki Jakarta going forward," said Herianto.
He explained that the development of Jakarta's karate athletes must go hand in hand with strengthening character and sports ethics. According to Herianto, achievements achieved without upholding these values will not be sustainable.
In addition to athlete development, Herianto also emphasized the importance of organizational unity and professionalism as the main foundation for Forki Jakarta in maintaining achievements at the national and international levels.
"With a solid organization and continuous development, I am confident that Jakarta karate can continue to compete and maintain its achievements," he said.
The gathering was attended by the Forki management for the 2025-2029 term and representatives of karate schools under Forki auspices. The presence of all members of the organization served as a consolidation platform for unifying the vision for developing karate in Jakarta.
In addition to the consolidation, the event also featured a social outreach initiative. The Jakarta National Karate-Do Institute (Inkanas) donated disaster relief to communities in Sumatra as a demonstration of solidarity from the karate community.
The donation was presented by Sensei Siam Tudji Warso, Chairman of the Inkanas Black Belt Council, to the General Chair of Forki Jakarta. He stated that social awareness is a value that karate practitioners must uphold.
